Expert insights on taurolidine
How can we maintain long-term venous access in patients with intestinal failure? How can we prevent infections, arguably the most dangerous complications in central-venous catheters?
The answer to these questions may lie in taurolidine, an antimicrobial agent with broad antibacterial and antifungal efficacy.
At the “Insights Intestinal Failure”conference, two experts will share their perspective on the matter.
Everybody is welcome to attend our industry symposium “Taurolidine: The Silver Bullet Against Catheter-Related Infections”. Jakub Víšek, MD, Ph.D. and Dr. Samford Wong will talk about the use of taurolidine-based lock solutions both as a well-established standard and in new fields where infections still hinder treatment success. The common goal is to accelerate progress and thereby reduce morbidity, mortality, and healthcare costs.
18 May, 02:45-03:45 pm CET at the Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel.
